Since the news from our strategic partnership with Austrian Post has been very well received by numerous media sources over the last few weeks, I would like to take this opportunity as the CEO of the adverserve group to explain our motivation for merging with Austrian Post. It’s a decision of great importance which will open up new perspectives over many years for us, and, above all, for our customers as we continue to drive digital transformation.
While this year’s dmexco was opened with the motto “Lightening the Age of Transformation”, we ourselves were enjoying one of the biggest milestones in our own transformation history. It’s been official since the end of October: We have decided to embark on a shared future with Austrian Post in the digital advertising market. In the first step, our new partner will take over 49 percent of the shares in adverserve, and the remaining shares will be gradually transferred to the Post over the next few years.

Together with the Post’s Digital Services department, we developed the online special advertising format KUVERT DIGITAL, which successfully runs on far-reaching information portals in Austria. “Building on our success as the market leader in the print advertising market, we now also want to further expand our expertise in the field of digital advertising.
